The View From the Top

Without a doubt, the people at HITT are our greatest asset. Knowing the value of our employees drives our evolution as a company. It’s the reason we invest so heavily in career path development and training. It’s why we have benefits like sabbaticals for superintendents after 15 years of continuous service and why we seek to reward our team members for their contributions and achievements.

We’ve never been in this business for glory. For us, it’s always been about the people, which is why there is no greater reward than being recognized by our own team members as an outstanding place to work. In 2016, we were named the number one Top Workplace for large organizations by the Washington Post; in 2017, we were thrilled to be named runner up.

“We are extremely proud to be recognized as a top place to work by the Washington Post,” said Vice President of Human Relations Lauren Bediako. “At HITT, we foster a culture of ownership and collaboration, and encourage an entrepreneurial mindset.  We invest in our people and work together to deliver exceptional service to our clients.”

It’s not just our headquarters team in DC that stands out in workplace satisfaction. Our Atlanta office is consistently recognized as a Best Place to Work by the Atlanta Business Chronicle, and our South Florida has earned the same honor from the South Florida Business Journal.

We are humbled by these accolades, and honored to work with the best in the building industry. All we could possibly ever say is thank you.
