Rich joined HITT in early 2020 as the Chief Human Resources Officer and brings with him nearly 20 years of Human Resources (HR) experience. After earning his Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology at The University of Akron, Rich spent time as a consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton before holding various HR roles at Marriott International. He most recently served as the Chief Human Resources Officer for MicroStrategy, a business intelligence company in Tysons, VA.
As the Chief Human Resources Officer, Rich is responsible for HITT’s Human Resource strategy and operations, specifically in the areas of recruiting, learning and development, performance management, talent management, change management, and compensation and benefits.
In addition to his professional experience, Rich has published his research in the areas of employee recruitment, hiring, and performance management in academic journals, and has had his research findings cited in the popular press. He is also a regular presenter and chairperson at professional conferences.
