Overview

The International Monetary Fund, an international organization aimed at fostering global growth and economic stability, was looking to renovate its headquarters office located in Washington, DC. Through a multi-year term construction contract, HITT completed IMF's Phase III headquarters tenant renovation with approximately 85 sequential, multi-department relocations and respective renovations, and daily work orders for miscellaneous renovations, repairs, and individual office modifications.

Construction to the space also included the renovation of the reception area, cafeteria and breakroom, and fitness center. Additionally, through the task order contract, HITT continued contractor service with building maintenance and miscellaneous renovations including painting, demolition of existing partitions, erection of new partitions, drywall and acoustical work, installation of doors and frames, millwork repair, carpet installation, and HVAC rework for the remaining six buildings owned and occupied by IMF.
