Overview
The Carlyle Hotel, a boutique property of Kimpton Hotels, is centrally located in DC’s Dupont Circle neighborhood. Built in the Art Deco style, the hotel provides guests a stylish location to rest their heads during their visit to the nation’s capital.
Seeking to elevate the hotels interiors, the hotel’s Owners engaged our team to tackle renovations that included condensing 167 rooms into 198 rooms, 8 of which were transformed to be fully ADA accessible. Additionally, the project scope included replacement of all furniture, fixtures, and equipment, with a particular focus on modifying the bathrooms to be more spacious with high-end finishes featuring glass entrances and stone vanities. All utilities were upgraded and modernized.
While the compressed four-month schedule and the property’s location in bustling downtown DC proved an added challenge for the team, they had no trouble conquering it. Delivering the project on-time, the Carlyle was ready and waiting to welcome guests.
