Overview
Our team completed the full demolition and interior build-out of Steptoe’s downtown Los Angeles office in U.S. Bank Tower—the second tallest office building in the Western United States.
The scope of work included perimeter offices, the elevator lobby, reception area, social hub, and pantry. The space features high-end finishes such as porcelain tile, wood slat walls, decorative light fixtures, and glass office fronts.
We overcame the challenges of Method B—a process that requires permitted documents be in coordination with the architectural check set—by communicating regularly with the client’s security vendor and holding weekly touchpoints to stay on schedule. Clear, transparent communication with the client’s out-of-town representative helped us exceed their expectations, resulting in an upscale work environment.
