Overview

MOI is a client-centered interior solutions provider that specializes in creating floor to ceiling renovations that are not only innovative and creative, but that utilize furniture and space management. Being a company that concentrates in creating imaginative space, they needed assistance in constructing their showroom to highlight their capabilities.

HITT worked with MOI and the rest of the design team to complete the 9,000 square foot, full-floor tenant build-out. This was a nine-week construction job to transform raw space into a furniture showroom for the public, as well as a private workspace for the employees.

The project included construction of conference rooms, offices, open office collaborative seating, library, pantry, and reception area.

Notable pieces within the space include a suspended lit customized wood ceiling throughout the space and the installation of Ketra programmable light fixtures, which was the first time a project utilized them in DC. The main point of recognition of the space is the painted mural at the lobby entrance.
