Overview

HITT constructed a 14,000-sf building expansion adjacent to an operating network switch site. The expansion contains one network equipment room and two colocated UPS / AC power rooms. Project scope included removing two existing generators and installing two new 2.5-MW exterior, containerized diesel generators, three Kyoto cooling AHUs,

new down-flow CRACs, a new, single transformer 4,000-amp utility service, and a new fire suppression system and seismic bracing system in the existing network switch. Our team also performed site improvements, including demolishing two existing driveway entrances, improving a third existing driveway entrance, constructing new parking for the addition, and adding a new access drive.
