Overview
The $70 million total renovation to the former historic landmark hotel, Hotel Washington, included lacquer case goods and glass shower wall upgrades to the hotel’s 317 rooms and suites, full renovation of the main lobby, ballroom and all public spaces, as well as new mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. The renovation also included the addition of a new restaurant, Jean-Georges Steakhouse,
a wine bar, two new kitchens and a spa. Further, structural repairs and new foundation and waterproofing systems were completed.
