Overview

The American Gas Association (AGA) is a lobbying agency for the gas industry. Founded in 1918, AGA represents more than 200 local energy companies that deliver clean natural gas throughout the United States. Today, about 95 percent of the 73 million gas customers in the United States receive their gas from AGA members.

HITT worked with the American Gas Association as their general contractor to build-out five conference rooms—three of the conference rooms with demountable partitions—open office space, boardroom, reception area, private offices, demountable glass office fronts, coffee bar, and pantry.

In the 30,000-sf space, there is a specialty-curved, wood-slat ceiling that extends from the lobby, reception area, to conference center that mirrors gas pipelines. The mirror shale formations in the reception area are designed to mirror gas shales, and the curved custom serpentine bench in the reception area resembles a gas line.
