Overview
Located four blocks from the Washington Nationals ballpark in the energetic Capitol Riverfront neighborhood in Washington, DC, this new 13-story, high-end residential apartment building with 13,000 sf of ground floor retail and three levels of parking below grade. With 580,000 sf of developed space, the LEED Silver building features 383 residential units and a basketball court, yoga studio, and dog walk and care center. Other amenities include three green roof areas and a rooftop pool, hot tubs, recreation areas, lounges, party room, dining room, conference rooms, and a fitness center.
At the center of the U-shaped building is a landscaped courtyard garden on the second floor, providing a focal point for the project. The structure consists of post-tensioned cast-in-place concrete. The building façade is a one-of-a-kind, custom curtainwall system that visually sets apart One Hill South from other buildings within the area.
