Next Era of Leadership

For the first time in company history, the corner office at HITT isn’t occupied by a Hitt family member. In December 2017, owners Brett Hitt and Jim Millar made the move from co-presidents to co-chairmen of our newly created Board, with Russell Hitt ascending the ranks to chairman emeritus. Kim Roy now serves as the company’s first CEO, with fellow former executive vice presidents Jeremy Bardin and Drew Mucci moving into the roles of co-presidents.

“Kim, Jeremy, and Drew’s leadership is nothing short of exceptional,” shared Brett. “We’ve anticipated this shift for a number of years, intentionally developing these three to be the next generation of leaders at HITT. They have an unmatchable passion for this company and the industry, and we have the utmost confidence in them.”

Currently the only female CEO of an ENR Top 100 Contractor, Kim has been a visionary at HITT since starting here in 1999. She’s implemented many strategic initiatives that have brought us to where we are now. Today she is responsible for all corporate operations, including defining key initiatives, identifying emerging markets, and executing the strategic vision of the Board.

Co-President Jeremy Bardin, a 30-year veteran of the construction industry, is focused on our continued growth nationwide. With executive oversight of the booming Technology sector and regional operations, he aims to further cement HITT as a national contractor. Fellow Co-President Drew Mucci provides oversight to 11 key market sectors and regions, as well as our operations, preconstruction, and project solutions departments. With his guidance, we’re determined to exceed expectations at every phase in the project lifecycle.

“This company remains a family-owned business and our success will always be a result of the relationships we’ve built with our clients, team members, subcontractors, and partners,” said Jim. “Brett and I are dedicated to the company’s success—we believe the best is yet to come.”
