Construction Site Operations: The Heartbeat of HITT

Our more than 500 site operations team members nationwide are an integral part of the fabric of HITT. They work long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays to ensure that our projects are built safely, on time, and to our client’s satisfaction every time. It’s no wonder they’re as talented, capable, and hardworking as they are thorough. While we appreciate our site operations team members every day, we’ve dedicated the month of September to them, celebrating their leadership in everything from setting safety and quality standards to earning the trust of our trade partners.

We filled a full week with moments of appreciation and recognition for our teams, including a special breakfast, unexpected gifts, and delicious snacks on-site. The week topped off with our annual SuperFest events across the country, an afternoon celebration held to recognize, reward, and have fun with our dedicated site operations team members. These celebratory events included everything from a sunset boat ride for our Charleston, South Carolina team, to axe throwing in Houston, Texas, and a sunny celebration in Los Angeles, California.

Hear from some of our team members on what they love most about working in site operations:

Superintendent Jeremy Zelinger, Headquarters: “This career can be incredibly rewarding. We aren’t just coming to work for a paycheck. We are coming to work to help shape the city and change lives one building at a time.”

Superintendent Aaron Davis, Seattle, Washington: “The construction industry has many pathways you can take, so you always have options in your career. I appreciate the stability and job security construction provides.”

Superintendent Katrina Vinson, Los Angles, California: “My favorite thing about site operations is seeing the project come to life from start to finish as well as witnessing and orchestrating every little step in between. I get to be an integral part of bringing the project to life.”

Superintendent Henry Silva, Santa Clara, California: “I love the variety of jobs I manage. My latest appreciation of my position is being able to teach and pass on things I have learned in my time in construction.”

We’re so thankful for our site operations team members, and we’ll continue this celebration and gratitude all year round.

Want to follow in their footsteps and join our site operations team? We’re hiring construction professionals across all departments, including site ops. For more information about how to apply, visit our Careers page.
