In Latin America and the Caribbean, the knowledge economy has become one of the region’s most important means of maintaining competitiveness and improving living standards, yet the vast majority of this region is still underserved by technology. Microsoft is partnering with public and private sector organizations to address this need with technology as an enabler for sustainable economic growth.
This was a tenant occupied build-out of two floors for the Microsoft Latin American headquarters in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The 60,000-sf office space is a culmination of eloquent design upgrades and the most efficient use of floor areas. Circular collaboration areas were built to promote creativity and teamwork. New phone booths and conference rooms were built and included audiovisual and telecommunication upgrades. The reception area and cafeteria received upgraded finishes for the walls, floors and cabinetry. This project was completed two weeks ahead of scheduled move-in date.
