Little Hall Theater
The Little Hall Theater in Quantico, Virginia was a complete refurbishment of a 55,000-sf 1930s theatre for the U.S. Navy / U.S. Marine Corps. This theater shows movies four days a week for military members and provides a 24-hour automated movie line with current showings, dates and times of coming attractions.
The project scope consisted of modernizing the projection equipment and installing new public and theatrical lighting. The existing wood and terrazzo floors were refinished along with refinishing the existing architectural and flat plaster. The work included hazardous material abatement, new mechanical and electrical systems, and ADA upgrades.
Other project highlights include new rigging and curtains, new carpet and seating, a proscenium arch, and a snack bar in the lobby.
