Overview

James is an experienced safety professional with more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry. Previously serving as a police officer, James knew construction safety would be a fitting career transition as it also requires investigation, mitigating risk, and caring deeply for people. James’s primary responsibilities as director of safety include overseeing and advising on jobsite health and safety implementation for all Texas projects. He has principal responsibility for trade partner performance in building high-quality projects safely to the satisfaction of our clients. In his role at HITT, James utilizes his expertise to drive a safety culture with zero-incident expectation through motivation, collaboration, and accountability for all on-site partners. James prioritizes the mental health of his team members, firmly implementing our culture of care.
