Overview

HITT was awarded the general contractor for the interior renovations at 115 Fairchild ‘The Landing’ by construction management firm JLL, The lengthy procurement along with the fast-paced nature of the project had HITT mobilizing just four days after project award. The initial project scope consisted of decommissioning a internet provider headquarters, which included a full service kitchen, gym facility, movie theater, data center with full generator backup, and call center areas. The full-building tenant had been onsite for more than seven years. Upon move out our team mobilized immediately with demolition crews to perform a complete gut of all four floors.

Once demolition was complete, new corridors, lobbies, common areas and bathrooms were constructed with Class-A finishes for future tenant areas. High-end finishes such as an architectural glass handrail, custom carpeting, porcelain floor tiling, LED lighting, wood wall paneling, glass wall tiling, custom wall paneling, and solid-surface countertops were added. Each floor consisted of an open-floor plan, ready for new tenant improvements.

Ten weeks into construction, HITT turned over the fourth floor to a project tenant, and completed construction with the tenents operating at full capacity. Our team also performed a build-out on the tenant’s new office space on the second floor, and moved them in as the project completed.
