This project is a complete 22,000-sf headquarters build-out in Washington, DC completed in February 2016 by the HITT, FOX Architects, and KGO team. Hudson Institute is one of the oldest and most respected think tanks in the world and has maintained a headquarters in Washington, DC since 1961. The ceiling features an alluring band of reclaimed wood that serves as a procession from public to private spaces. Glass fronts and walls were incorporated to draw natural light to create an open layout. Detailed wood and stone work can be seen throughout the lobby entrance. This project received a LEED Silver certification.
