We have been a people-first company since our founding; after all, as Co-Chairman Brett Hitt puts it, a company is only as good as its people. Our Human Resources team is key to maintaining that approach—attracting new talent, designing an engaging employee experience, and ensuring retention.
In 2016, HITT further invested in our people-first culture with the hire of our first Vice President of Human Resources, Lauren Bediako. Lauren’s mission is to ensure the company keeps pace with innovations in HR, focusing on our team members as the foundation of our future.
With more than 15 years of experience in HR leadership, Lauren’s passion lies in driving employee engagement that ultimately improves company performance and business growth. Leading our recruiting, training, payroll, benefits, talent and organizational development, and HITT Futures teams, she is dedicated to providing people access to the resources needed to manage their careers and propel their professional growth. Under her direction, HITT recently implemented an HR Business Partner program, with dedicated team members serving as liaisons to improve the HR experience.
