Copano Energy, acquired by Kinder Morgan Energy Partners in 2013, was a natural gas pipeline operator based in Houston, Texas. Kinder Morgan is now the largest energy infrastructure company in North America.
The Copano Energy project was a 60,000-sf build-out of two floors—levels 23 and 24 of One Allen Center in downtown Houston. The scope included conference rooms, open offices, private offices, a break room, elevator lobbies, restrooms, and a reception area. The space includes many unique features such as architectural millwork, LINAK electric lift servery doors, super graphics, magnetic marker boards with back-painted glass, Modernfold operable partition systems, and MechoShades at the exterior windows.
Our preconstruction team scheduled early demolition and pre-purchased light fixtures and flooring, accelerating the schedule to complete in less than 16 weeks.
