Overview

This project is a two-floor refresh of an existing accounting firm after being purchased by BDO. The space was fully-demolished and built back with a more purposeful blend of open office and suites, all framed with DIRTT demountable partitions. A large, open-to-structure kitchenette and lounge was fit out with custom casework, a feature ceiling structure and top-of-the line appliances to provide employees with a place to relax and decompress while playing table games.

HITT was selected as the GC on this project just before the COVID-19 pandemic and worked through the pandemic with BDO, WA Holdings, and Weaver Architects to ensure the design and functionality of the space matched the future of workplace. The use of DIRTT throughout the space allows for flexibility as the workplace evolves and more employees return to work.
