This project involved the relocation of 180 employees across 14 different operating companies. The scope consisted of selective demolition and renovation of 57,400 sf of occupied space on the 11th and 12th floors of the corporate office building. Additionally, we completed another 15,600 sf of new construction on the 14th floor, including a new IDF room, employee breakroom, and a large conference room with integrated audiovisual systems. The majority of the occupied renovation on floors 11 and 12 involved an eight-phase move of employees and furniture to accommodate the installation of audiovisual, data, power, lighting, demountable storefronts, and new carpet. The renovation and moving of furniture occurred after-hours to accommodate the rest of the building's tenants during working hours. Challenges during the project included schedule phasing, after-hours work due to the occupied environment, and the noise sensitivity of the Ritz Residences above. Our team pushed through an aggressive 15-week schedule, surpassing the Client’s expectations, which strengthened our long-standing relationship with WPP. You might be interested in...
